What Is Wrong With Us?
In a country where most gays cannot foster children let alone adopt one, a husband and wife in North Carolina thought it a good idea to tie their 13 year old son to a tree for two days as punishment for his disobedience. The child was found unresponsive by the step mother and could not be revived. To quote one law enforcement officer, "Nobody saw the signs." Please.
Are we so accustom to burying our heads in the proverbial sands that we are easily convinced that what we think we see we do not? The bruises, slumped shoulders and sunken souls aren't strong enough indicators that our kids are being tortured as a nightly ritual that is as certain to come as the seasons.
When narcissistic mentally ill adults have sex, they sometimes make babies that they have no business making or keeping. They raise these children in an atmosphere that could not foster anything but disobedience.
It has not been reported, but if you think that alcohol or drugs were not involved in this sadistic killing then you're likely to believe that Ron Paul will be our next president.
Drugs and alcohol do many things to the addict, but primarily it makes the practicing booze hound incapable of any authentic emotion and because of that all emotions look like one emotion: Napoleonic rage. Who do they think they are is the battle cry of most drunks and without regard the kids are always lumped in with the rest of the infamous them.
We'll know one day through testimony and court papers why this couple thought it appropriate to rope their child to an oak for two days, and I suspect the reason will be as mundane as not taking out the trash.
Thank God we didn't let the gays get to him first.

Can you believe those parents? It's so horrifically disgusting. God bless Timmy Russert, but his passing took this off the front page and soon nobody will give it a thought until the trial.

Did you see the poor old man who got hit by the car and no one stopped??? What the hell is wrong with people? I may be straight but that doesn't make me a breeder THANK WHO EVER! I know how it would go my kid would be going thru life just fine then one of these soft headed morons would come along and screw it all up in some way. I have been fired up all week and now this kid tree thing. People should be sterilized at birth and have to take a test before trying to have a kid. Take a trip to your local K-mart and look at the soft headed morons running around in there just waiting to push out a litter...hell I have those same morons in my family. I have done all I could to eradicate them but they wouldn't chase the twinkies into traffic. You have to feed them soft foods since most of them are lacking a tooth or twenty. Ok I'm done for now I'm going to go try that meditation thing you were talking about...I think when I get done with that I'll go down stairs and hit the punching bag for a while.
