The AFA and Hate Crimes


This is a poll on the American Family Association's home page:

Generally speaking, is the objective of 'hate crimes' laws to police people's thoughts and actions that may not be considered 'politically correct'?
For our purposes here, it doesn't work so don't act like a lab monkey pushing the cocaine button until your arm falls off. I just wanted you to see how the Afraid Family Association carefully crafts their surveys so that even the densest of hate mongers will get it when they read it. Yes, hate crime legislation is just a way to keep your bigoted traps shut and has nothing to do with the n word being spray painted on your new neighbor's Buick or a young man being beaten to death for coming out of the wrong bar.

So here's a little poll of my own:

Generally speaking, is it the objective of the American Family Association to police people's thoughts and actions that may not be considered 'wingnut enough?'

2. Si
3. Not yeah, but hell yeah
