I was just perusing as usual today when a headline caught my eye from the Denver Post:
Gays Arrive to Push Anti Bias Agenda.
So what has my panties in a twist?
Well, the description of wanting equal rights as an agenda pisses me off to no end.
Equal rights is not an agenda. An agenda has slippery connotations in today's media. If I want to sell you a $20,000 car for $25,000 - that's an agenda. Agenda implies corrupt intent. A desire to be included in the democratic convention is neither corrupt nor an agenda.
Listen up Denver Post dipshits - equal rights - it's not that complicated.
Federal protection from discrimination and laws to govern hate crimes and oh yeah we'd like to get married legal like.
Methinks somebody woke up on the wrong side of the dyke bed this morning.
