Don't Cry for Me Argentina

The surviving partner must prove that they lived as a couple for at least five years in order to be eligible to receive such benefits.

Muchas gracias.

I assume the same way common law couples have to prove it on occasion in the USA. Lease documents, mortgage papers, shared bills etc, signed witness affidavits.

I'm sure there's a list. I think anyone that has set up house with another for more than five years, proving it would be rather easy.
